This has felt like Solo Leveling since the start, the mother is replaced by the sister here, but both revolve around the MC being basically the weakest that somehow becomes the strongest, and if this chapter is anything to go by, then both surround dungeons created by some kind of godly beings fighting each other through games where the humans are the pieces, and each godly being gets to select a chosen "Hero" to represent them, giving some of their own powers to their selected.
I guess it remains to see whether this newfound power and status causes the MC's personality and behavior to change, as well as his looks. I hope not, at least not as much and drastic as Solo Leveling's MC.

I detest protagonists that risk their life to save a scumbag, I hate them and sometime I think they are worse than a villain.
A uttery unrealistic character, unable to truly hate someone and letting karma do its course.
This is possibly the only manga I've ever read that have that demerit having a good reason to exist, if MC wasn't a castrated herbivore that is unable to keep hate within himself he wouldn't have been choosen as the iheritor of the eyes.
The bully is dead, in a utterly stupid way, so it should be unlikely for MC to go through another similar experience.

But i must say that all of this makes the scene where he was stressed out and lashed to lil sis even worse.

He should have just got a high paying job on a oil rig or something.

The real question is who the other survivor is; I'm betting it's the girl with him, but if so... does that make her his antithesis?
Is the other survivor a selfless person, or is it the most ruthless of them?
Kind of a Yin/Yong duality kinda-thingy?

If anything ever get posted again, I guess we'll find out the "who" portion, at least.

To clarify, I don't think they are worse then the villain as a person but as a story character, they are wrote bad, in a world full of unreal things a character unable to wish someone that tormented and even tried to kill them some karma is stupid.

I'm not a bully or ever got bullied, I don't understand tormenting others for fun and if someone tried to do it to me stuff would have happened.
I lived a decent number of years, read many stories and just dislike when a character is built like that.
