Well they're usually seeing each other like five days in a row every week. Plus they've known each other for a while and caught feels recently, and she hasn't seen her crush the entire week (Which would probably be like 4-5 days considering they don't see each other on the weekend) Apparently she can be a bit clingy when she's used to more time together. It's not contradictory, it's just new information. Kurose feels the same way she does, he just doesn't act on it.

1. A character is created to glaze a couple. Since that's his/her only purpose, a character often doesn't even have any personality aside from doing that.
2. It's meta in a very on-the-nose way.
3. Consciously or subconsciously, the author is trying to convince the audience that the couple is very cute by having some third party say it outright, as if it's more convincing than the couple itself.
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku or even your pfp had the same trope used and it was bad every time.

Ok, I didn't say you were even wrong you didn't have to justify yourself. But I don't see why this matters very much, I think most of the time the author just wants to have someone say "Awww they so coot" and don't really think about it that hard
