I honestly appreciate an author having characters actually talk to each other. This manga has plenty of rom-com tropes, but I find myself really enjoying it, because everyone talks to each other and communicates their feelings. A MC saying "I said something without thinking and that clearly hurt you, I'm sorry.", is basically unheard of.

Yeah, they can be dumb and overthink, etc, but they're kids. There's not really any dumb fake love triangles or anything. At least to me, it feels more realistic than dozens of chapters of overthinking or pity parties, and it's a lot more enjoyable to read.
