I agree I should've left around chapter 23 or something when I realised I despise the basic setup, actually that's a lie I really hated the chapter 1 setup but pushed through in hopes it would get better. It got marginally better but I still despise this kind of MC. Takamine I would have less of an issue with her behaviour if there was an in any way assertive MC who would either challenge her on going super tsun or would take any form of action.

I realised after around chapter 23 that there will never be any hope of that and I am here for the art and lewd so I stopped complaining, uninstalled my brain and am waiting for volumes to release so I can enjoy the lewd uncensored.

This was a nice complete chapter, it's been a long fucking way but shirota is almost expressing his desire, by which I mean he makes a face to himself that Takamine can read and then turn back time to indulge him. I know what I'm reading so I hope it concludes before chapter 80 or 90 preferably.

If they go beyond the confession I would like to see Shirota be a bit more possessive and assertive in front of others. The self deprecating, why would I ever dream of climbing a social hierarchy in school that will be completely meaningless in under a year since the whole class will judge me until I never see any of them again thing is just how these things are written I guess.

Because she keeps sending mixed signals, we know she does because she half admitted it to other characters but she is unable to be honest when she is with him.

Also its very obvious to how to get this off this cycle, either add a actual rival so she is forced to commit (and suffer the effects when he doesnt believe her) or she loses her powers that shatters her "perfect" image, the author knows that so he is going to keep going until he either gets tired or the editor starts to push to get the story to its conclusion.

It would have been better if Takamine said the hand holding was a reward for his improvement in his self confidence. That he passed her test during the swimsuit shopping when he spoke up. She could have even said she wants her closet to be able to protect her perfect image if she wanted to deflect from her feelings.

I still have hope that while Takamine will never change that the author would have moved Shirota forward. Showing improvement in academics, athletics and self confidence. But that doesn't seem to happen which is one of the issues with this series nobody is actually progressing.
