I tried to like this manga but the relationship is completely repulsive to me. It's built in the basis of her having power over him. Here's it's literally a superpower but the way she treats him is also like that.

@aFFi She literally pointed out everything wrong with his running form, which should greatly affect his running speed and stamina consumption. He was half-assing the first run, with a bad form to boot -no wonder why he drains stamina quickly. Assuming that he put that into mind to protect her fat ass when running for the second time, then him achieving said cutoff time shouldnt be surprising at all. Yes, him wanting to protect her ass actually has an effect -hormones works that way.

It's kind of adorable how she wants him to do better and tries to encourage him like that. She says it in a really backhanded manner, but anyone who can see past that can see how sweet it is.

To anyone who doesn't quite get it: When she says "I have no interest in associating with someone who has no ambition in life", she's saying that she wants to associate with him, so she wants him to at least be a little ambitious.
If you read into it further, you could say that she might even want to date him but can't because he's so bottom rung (there would likely be a whole bunch of social fuss if they did), which could partially explain why she's developed this whole "closet and master" thing (the next best thing she could come up with).
