Well the author knows we love the series and will come back...and to be fair the breaks are not surprising anymore. Annoying but not surprising.

i don't know if you guys caught it but there was a part where mashibas neck gets caught on the rope and its def a death flag the way mashiba is acting, like how he finally acknowledge ippo to take care of kumi, his character development, etc. hopefully im wrong but lets see after the break, im dying to keep reading it

*edit: i went back but it was the matt where his neck was in a weird way where he went down, but when i saw it again, it just made me more worried about mashiba :{

Couldn't you just... you know... concluded the match before taking a 2 week break? Like I'm still scared he'll pull a joe here

That was a cool action paneling, making it as if Mashiba’s fist was about to touch the canvas while actually he was doing an uppercut from that angle.

Thank you for the chapter :) <3
But damn having to wait 2 weeks after reading a 3 minutes chapter. Oh well. :)

Fuck George and his shit
But for Pete's sake this guy can draw motion and impact, that last uppercut almost sent me flying.

with how short last few chapters been, i really thought the punch to mashiba was the finishing blow. but that uppercut was slick

i maybe reading this series, but idk boxing very well. since rosario bracing himself against ropes, if mashiba knocked him out now, would it even count?

I'm so tired of this shit. I followed this manga for SO long, but COME ON.

Someitmes short chapters, fights that draw out too much, long breaks. I mean, I get it but at this point I'm thinking this manga might be left unfinished...

Is the MC still supposed to be Ippo? Cause I don't think we'll ever see him on the ring ever again....
I don't care about Ippo anymore, I just want to see Takamura achieving his dream.

Ah, MD reminding me of how pissy and whiny folks can be about a decades old manga release schedule. 🤣
Kids here don't realize how taxing it is to do a weekly series for 30+ years. Its actually insane he's still at good health.

This fight could have gone totally different if Rosario were in top form. If he changes his ways, seriously trains and keeps in shape, and comes back for Mashiba, then I hope Mashiba has leveled up a bunch or else he won't stand a chance. I hope this gets acknowledged after the fight is over.

To me, it looked like a Smash
Possible as well, though the Smash is knuckles in, while an uppercut is knuckles out. Sendo has already borrowed the chopping right in his last fight, so Mashiba could just be borrowing the smash as well... though Mashiba's punch was knuckles out. Ch. 381 has Hawk doing some sway uppercut work which is comparable to Mashiba now.

Not really something that I'mma fight tooth and nail on though, just meme'ing.
