Yeah, he tried to bulldoze everything she said because he doesn't love Yotsuha at all, he's "in love" with the delusion of a perfect partner that will make him eternally happy that he projected onto her. He's traumatized by the broken home he was raised in, but instead of trying to break out of that cycle of abuse, he chose to cope by deluding himself and repeating that cycle by abusing Yotsuha and Uichi while justifying his abuse to himself as just him correcting Yotsuha's "mistake" and making sure they end up together because they're "destined" to be together. That's why he's so hopeful when she says they could be friends instead, all he really wants is someone to help him coregulate his emotions, but all his current friends don't do that because he created those friendships through manipulation so no one knows the authentic Yae. That's why once Yotsuha made it undeniably clear that she wouldn't be that perfect partner for him and wouldn't even be a source of emotional regulation as his friend, he lost all control and started physically attacking her.

His murder of Uichi didn't happen in this timeline, so he hasn't crossed that line here, and he's young so he can still turn things around for himself. IMO he's a child so as long as he doesn't cross that line where he'd be tried as an adult for his crimes, this is more on the family that abused him and the community and school system that failed to protect him and get him out of that abusive situation or at least provide the help he needs. Unfortunately, people just like him act like this both as children and well into their adult lives when they can abuse their power over other people on a daily basis....
What’s make this manga compelling for me is that some thing just can’t change, Uichi dream, Yotsuha love for him, Yae pure evilness, the class “two faced”. Some people just born as evil, he lack empathy for his mother, lack self awareness, he can’t even spell a word right. If you think abt it, most killer minds work like that same pattern, they always lack something to make them think like a normal human beings, there’s some serious thing fucked up inside their brain, I don’t think put them into a wealthy family can change anything

This guy’s already thought abt killing Uichi while he still a kid, I don’t see any way for him to turn around, the only way now that’s replace his brain with a fucking plants that’s at least can contribute to society more than this dumbass

I don't know why, but I think the hidden person is his Uichi Sister. I hope I'm wrong but it has to be someone close to him right?

I'm also glad her love for him is why she is doing everything to save him.

Firstly, nature vs nurture is a debate as old as time, we're not going to come to a definitive conclusion in the comment section of a scanlation. Secondly, I didn't say anything about wealth, I was talking only about trauma and abuse. Sure, his mother neglected him because she was poor and thus didn't have the time and energy to raise him with empathy, but I grew up in a middle class home with both parents and I was still abused and learned unhealthy coping mechanisms. I've been told I contributed nothing to society for years, but I got out of that abusive environment and turned my life around, why can't Yae? Why can't anyone else?

I'm not naïve enough to say that no one is irredeemably evil or born with a crew loose, but in my experience, most times people are malicious, there's trauma and/or abuse behind it. Many people may be redeemable but refuse to take that first step of admitting their faults or subsequent steps of actually healing themselves and repairing their relationships. And many don't even remember the trauma or abuse because that's one of the ways we cope with those things.

I'm not saying anyone has a responsibility to reach out to any abusers or perpetrators of any kind as if they will become good people if you just give them a chance, but writing people off as irredeemable criminals is how you end up with the "tough on crime" rhetoric that justifies the US's criminal justice system that is designed to keep prisoners in the system and treats them like slave labor.

Uichi's sister was holding a cell phone in chapter 16 when Yotsuha was remembering how everyone reacted to Uichi's suicide... I think you might be right.... :shamihuh: :shamihuh: :shamihuh:

I did already say it and I will say it again.
Your life is NOTHING. You serve ZERO purpose. You should kill yourself NOW. And give somebody else a piece of that oxygen, in ozone layer, that’s covered up so that we can breathe inside this blue trapped bubble. Because what are you here for? To worship me? Kill yourself! I mean that with a hundred percent with a thousand percent.

she would make Packgod blush. also, I hope sooner or later our boy gets enough of his confidence back to help her rather than just relying on her even if he doesn't realize how much. but rn he is pretty broken so It will probably take a while longer for that to happen

Change because they don't want' to, that's the nature of this trash.

Gastos destruidores passando o resto de seus dias miseráveis sabendo
That he is a piece of shit who ruined the lives of others and his own.

Bro is literally dead inside, his delusion broken and now everyone knows he can’t spell hypocrisy
lol :kek:, but I do think that he should’ve been reprimanded inside and outside, after all what he did to uichi was bad physically and mentally you know?
