Why did the chapter change?

Western sites mistakenly released only half of Chapter 194 as complete, and both I and the Spanish translator fell for it. I suspected something was off due to the missing title but only confirmed it later through the author’s Twitter.
After checking Japanese sites, I found most had the RAW cut in half—until I located a full version. It seems an Eastern aggregator uploaded an incomplete chapter, and Western sites unknowingly spread the error, causing a chain reaction.

I plan to post chapters on MangaDex up to chapter 200. After that, I will continue translating, but I will post them across the internet, except on MangaDex. This is because I’m fed up with the MangaDex staff.

The only reason I’m not doing this immediately after the current chapter is that I really like the community that reads Hajimete no Gal. You have supported me to this day and still do, and you welcomed me when I started in the world of translation through this manga, so I won’t stop posting here just yet.

You can read and download the chapters on my website: https://venante.blogspot.com/
New chapters will also be available on my Discord to read and dowload: https://discord.gg/gu623JmPYp
And everywhere else where I can upload it.

Everything is completely free and ad-free.

Why is Junichi suddenly concerned with losing his virginity and finally fucking Yame when Yame was literally throwing herself at him during the manga arc. Like legitimately he's had ample opportunity to have sex with his girlfriend and he just blew her off countless times even despite her best efforts to seduce him. Now all of a sudden it's the only thing on his mind? Did the author forget what they had written previously?

Also what is with that sudden jump cut from Yame saying she had to worry about the baking competition to suddenly just going "Three Weeks Later" and they're already in Okinawa. That jump basically made the previous cliffhanger complete bullshit since it effectively didn't matter. Why even introduce Yame declining if you aren't going to follow through on it?

This series has had piss poor writing before but never has it been this egregiously lazy. What the fuck is happening with the author?

Well, this makes much more sense. Luckily the misunderstanding was solved quickly, although it shouldn't have been here in the first place, and we didn't waste time with the baking competition.

To be honest, I suspect they may actually do the deed in the 200th chapter. It seems like a logical milestone thing.

I'd love to forget what he wrote in the previous chapters actually. I think it stems from how the sequel manga started: with them about to do it and Gokomachi breaking into his apartment and the story, which is congruent with how the original manga operated. The manga diverting into Junichi wasting his time with other girls instead of being with Yame isn't anything new either, the main difference is that for the most part it abandoned the harem part with that the ecchi scenes exist in a different context. Why he never fucked Yame in the meantime? Good question, but the only answer we have came at the beggining of this arc with Junichi literary forgeting he even has a girlfriend, despite him whining previous Christmas that he can't spend them with Yame.
Also what is with that sudden jump cut from Yame saying she had to worry about the baking competition to suddenly just going "Three Weeks Later" and they're already in Okinawa. You forget the bullshit clifhanger of her going abroad from the original manga already? At least this time the author spared us the misunderstanding.

Nah, it always was like this, the worst thing he did was including the supernatural. I secretly hope he is ready to end the series and just throws every crazy idea he ever wanted in before he does. This survival arc starts like a throwback to the original manga, but lets hope it doesn't end like every arc from the original.

Maybe it’s my experience but why doesn’t the MC just talk to his gf and say he’s ready to progress to the point of having sex. To me their relationship seems weird compared to all of the other girls except maybe the president, for her boyfriend he’s unbelievably nervous around her. I don’t think people who be in a relationship with someone they cannot talk to.

Mc is spineless and is so bad at reading signals he'd blast through a red light
