It went a little too well while he also lost every chance to escape. Creepy not matter how cute she is.
Not sure yet if she had a bad experience with her own notoriety and wants to guard young artists against that or trigger it for her to feel better about herself. By putting them down or repeat the incident and twist the reality into being inevitable while being its arbitrer, then free of responsibility since that's just how things work
Diabolical plan, if it didn't involve aggreing to be filmed doing lewd dog roleplay
Okay, so here's my prediction—I don't think this counts as a spoiler since it's just an educated guess.
Ekoda and Shirasawa's father were in a relationship during their youth, or since Ekoda seems a little suspicious, it may be that Ekoda had a one-sided crush on his Dad. Either way, the two used to film the same kind of things Shirasawa and Honjou do right now.
At some point, Dad dropped Ekoda to move onto far larger and greater projects and she felt betrayed by it. But after finding out that Shirasawa has that same spark in him, especially now that Shirasawa is getting more notable by the day, she's leveraging her position to get those glory days back and is going to try and permanently secure her spot next to him—even if that means disposing of Honjou in one way or another (probably not death, it doesn't seem like that kind of manga XDXD, but it remains to be seen).
EDIT: Okay, I've read up to the point where her intentions are actually revealed so beyond this point are actual spoilers. I would've normally have left this comment alone after learning the truth, but I wanna talk about it. XDXD
So it wasn't the Dad—it was Director Saiga. Aside from that detail, I was pretty much spot on. Ekoda was not only dropped by him when he went on to do better things, she basically had her entire entertainment career ripped from her in that one instant. So it's much worse than I thought. She also doesn't seem to care about Honjou at all which surprised me but sure, more power to ya. XDXD
On the other hand, I didn't think that the "super famous" groper Director Saiga was going to be this involved in the story. Since he's so far removed from the overarching premise, I thought he was going to be a one and done character that we meet and then never see again. So I'm kinda excited to see where that goes... He's obviously quite important if he's involved in Ekoda's backstory (since Ekoda is probably going to become an important character as well), so I wonder if he'll become an antagonistic force for Shirasawa? He likes stirring up shit for the fun of it, so I can see him being an asshole as motivation for him later on.
