@Sonaldo Basically, it seems like the Japanese boy is the son of a Japanese man and his first wife. They must have gotten divorced early on in their marriage and he moved to Malaysia and married Sofia. But according to the papers about "inheritance" it sounds like he passed away and his widow has come to Japan to sort out the inheritance for the children etc.

Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. Pretty cool how the japanese wife allowed the second muslim wife to stay with them. In my country(Malaysia), wives of man practicing polygamy are known to be pretty hostile as some of the man had their second wedding in secret. That's what causing this confusion.
