That's what always happens with these types of isekais... The MC stubbornly thinks everything will happens canonically as the metaknowledge they have, never realizing that they've changed everything...

"I'm Not Even an NPC In This Otome Game!" Is one of the few stories when the MC realizes late that he's on a fictional narrative from his previous life and worries a brief moment about canon but decides not to care about all the changes he made and keep living his reality as it is.

it's probably the princess, like the classic she's just hiding on a plain mask, also she has the biggest ones of the group, so it's an alert, also it feels like the possesive kind with how she reacted to the saintess, MC kinda evading death flags but he's creating some yandere flags
