I’m not a librarian so please excuse my ignorance but do you really need to go to college (a fancy shmancy one at that) in order to become one? I could see the museum curator needing a bit of schooling but librarian? Again I’m ignorant if someone would like to correct me go ahead!

I was looking into librarian jobs lately; you have to be quite qualified! Many universities offer a masters in library science and information management. The exactly qualification needed varies by position— as far as I know, there's bachelors, associate, or certificate programs for library technicians and clerks. If you wanna be a big academic librarian, you might even need a PhD.
