@Warmuffin Only in shonen... in shoujo... it's the same sh*t, except it's taken more seriously (so not as an exaggerated joke that you know is taken up to 11).

Long story short, if a shonen female hits a boy exaggeratedly, boys will know that it's just cheap slapstick. But in shoujo, boys will actually abuse and rape girls and the girls will fall for their rapist....

@DatOneGuy Well, the author will probably hope that this series will last longer than 40 chapters. And hey, it did reach the 26 chapter mark. So the likely hood of it being axed is very small (the we don't know if the recent events were a turn off that would make this lose popularity or something).

@DatOneGuy Well, that depends on how long the manga is.. for all we know, this could still just be the start.... early on, things could look bigger than they really are.

Plus, the idol twin has a huge advantage. They mutually like each other. These few moments are nice, but we need to remember, what it's competing with is a childhood mutual crush....

If you think about it that way, this can't be considered enough.

Sure, he had development with this girl... but is this really enough for her to win against a long time crush that's mutual?

If you think about it, it's not. We might not have seen it, but stuff before this story did exist.

Readers often forget that what we see isn't every single moment of their lives (I can't begin to tell you how many people thought Kakashi never trained Naruto just because it wasn't shown even though there were obvious time skips).
