Interesting premise with a poor execution so far. It all feels a bit overblown and unnatural, with the protagonist blowing up at people for noticing she looks different (which she obviously does) and encountering the same difficulties foreigners do when living in Japan (like the paperwork).
I was honestly hoping for her to do a comeback or retort at the "did your mom fuck a black guy" in the form of "of course, did you think a stork delivered me?". That would have been miles better characterization than whatever the author went with. Building up her character as weak kinda defeats the whole point. She'd be much better as a witty baddie instead.
As much as it's made some hood weebs, tourists and culture warriors seethe, the "localization" isn't that bad, and decently fits the accent the protagonist has (except for the overexaggerated first few pages to filter them). It's way too overblown when other characters like Umamusume's Tamamo Cross speak in a similar way.
Hoping that MD admins come to their senses and add the chapter back.
