Handling single volume works

Hi there! I am working on some translations and most of them happen to be single volume - either collection of short pieces, or one story but end within one volume.

I'm wondering what would be the good way to handle the volume numbers in these kinds of works. Should I put Volume 1 for all chapters or leave it blank? I can see some of both on the site (when they mixed in one work it's quite messy e.g. https://mangadex.org/title/a14aefaa-473c-4824-b297-1d16c4899737/pillow-fish), so not sure if either one is more recommended.

Also, does it matter if the chapters are one story, or multiple small stories?

Thanks in advance!

You should list them as Volume 1, and if multiple chapters make a single story use "Story Name - Part 1/2/etc." as the name, unless the chapter already had a name provided by the mangaka.
