To anyone wandering what the meaning is and isn't the retard from two comments above,it's basically "the grass isn't greener".

She wished to be free,free from having to kill herself over and over,free from the nightmares about nearly being killed,free to lead a normal life with the man who stood by her.

Caged or set loose,she just couldn't accept herself enough to achieve her goal,because neither path would've worked out.

But new life comes new hope,so perhaps their miracle baby will finally be their true end.
