Thank you, lespookycarrot. I do think the reviews, ratings say more about the readers. Seeing the rating of this consistently under 7 puzzles and saddens me. I try to read things that are popular and often don't understand the trends, can only figure people want things that are easier to swallow. I've read hundreds of manga from over 40 years. I like this. The characters are well written, the art is good, the situation intriguing. I don't love any of the characters and I'm not sure I agree with their lifestyle. But I still want to see it to the end.

Reading this, I'm still not really sure why exactly Madoka left. Was she bothered by how Ryu was paying Koharu too much attention? Did it just reach a point where she couldn't stand being in a harem anymore? Or did it have to do with her inability to give birth? Can someone clear it up for me?

Both Suzu and Koharu, then? Did Joey appear again, btw? Sorry for bothering you; I'm just really curious.

yup the whole gang, except joey im guessing the author wrote him off for good.
tbh even tho it was just raws the ending felt a little rushed. I dont think it got rushed by the publisher or axed but I got the feeling the author was out of gas, which is fair cause the upcoming arcs will be entertaining.

@Cal ratings are the breath of peoples opinions and sometimes it can stink or smell good depending on the individuals "nose" I wont let it get it to you. Also its always good to keep in mind our opinions here outside of Japan are less valuable than pond scum lol. The Japanese mangakas, publishers, or studios don't care what foreigners think about their manga/anime in the past, present, and probably in the foreseeable future. Same goes for Chinese manhuas and Korean manhwas. Im sure they appreciate their foreign fans but we arent who they are tryna target.

Madoka left because Ryu broke the rules just for Koharu, and Ryu (up to that point) never broke the rules. Ryu loves Madoka and Yuzu, but not really in the same way he does Koharu. Ryu was with Madoka and Yuzu due to various feelings of wanting to care for them whereas Koharu is someone that Ryu pined for since they were kids, an affection born out of genuine love and a desire to be with that person and a part of their life. Koharu can motivate Ryu into doing things that he normally wouldn't, like breaking the rules or going back to the piano and it's this realization that Madoka will never be that person for Ryu that hurts her to the point that leaving is the only option in her mind as staying and being reminded of this on a daily basis is too painful for her. We'll see what happens as Madoka makes a return in later chapters.

Honestly, it’s an interesting read. It just may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

I think ppl should also keep in mind that relationships like this occur and there is a possibility that it occurs within your own neighborhood.

It’s definitely a “to each their own” type of thing.

@jet45s

Not to mention it’s not exactly smut.... okay, very mature but I’ve seen much worse in manga and manhua...

This manga isn't perfect -- it meanders sometimes, it's a bit overdramatic but...
I really like it. The art is really pretty and readable, the characters are likable and fairly realistic, and the whole harem gimmick is explored well.

The art is lovely and the story is nice... but the personalities of the two protagonists are just awful, I don't know how to describe the feeling, but I'm reading it while always being on the verge of dropping it. It's weird.
