I mean we are talking about an age gap, but considering the time period they're set in an age gap of 20 to 30 years isn't all that uncommon. It is a little bit much for me too though, also we don't see the romance tag
Anyone knows the exact age gap? I remember he being younger than what his looks suggest but tbh I forgot her age... maybe I should reread the previous chapters.
@PsychoPisces
It seems pretty simple. It's either marry him and (assuming he's being truthful) do whatever you want since if he cared about power or using you he'd still be king, or deal with a pack of ravenous wolves ready to get you in a lockdown that makes your previous situation look idyllic in comparison.
Apparently none of them have the sense to let her live comfortably AND sew all the time.
Maybe marry just in name to protect her? If they fall in love later down the line i can't complain, but jumping in a real marriage with a girl so young? that's a bruh
@Riri
You got to remember they try to set this as times back in Victorian era maybe to where it was okay for a 15 year old girl to be looked at as ready for marriage.
I don't really mind an age gap as long it's by consent of both parties... it's just... this girl seriously accept to get married someone who bluntly says "you have political worth"? seriously???
