The ref is clearly sleeping.Blocking a player with the ball with your entire body and arm is not a legal move in soccer.![]()
It's more like this, tho.Blocking a player with the ball with your entire body and arm is not a legal move in soccer.![]()
Maybe in soccer but in real football we do things differentlyBlocking a player with the ball with your entire body and arm is not a legal move in soccer.![]()

Even if ref can see it, they'd only whistle when the ball changes possession (which in this case, it does, so if ref see it, it should be a foul.) But they tend to give advantage if the attacking team is still in control of the ball.First of all football
Also it is indeed legal when you block the attacker from getting to the ball before it gets out of play, it happens pretty much every game.
Now what is illegal is pulling the shirt of your opponent so you can hold them back and get to the ball first… I am actually wondering if there even is a ref (sure she said refs blindspot, but come on every ref can see that foul…)
Most of the case, refs don't considered is as a foul if the ball's pretty far from the attacker and this is the case with Mei and Urushi. Moreover outside the box. I often do it and they don't call it as a foul.Even if ref can see it, they'd only whistle when the ball changes possession (which in this case, it does, so if ref see it, it should be a foul.) This is a textbook case of tactical foul but ref didn't see, which players like Rodri, Fernandinho, and other world-class DMs master
No, the ref dont only whistle if the ball changes possession, he will whistle if he can see that there is no advantage even if the attacking team keeps the ball. Also there is no advantage to give here, the defender kicked the ball out of play instantly with her tackle and it also dont really matter considering it happened inside the box, so its just a penalty nothing else to discuss.Even if ref can see it, they'd only whistle when the ball changes possession (which in this case, it does, so if ref see it, it should be a foul.) I mean here its pretty clear. Attacker was faster and suddenly the defender comes first, only reason its a clear shirt pull. Also thats not a tiny bit part of the shirt, she straight up put her hand inside the shirt to get a good grip🤣 Whats more it happened inside the box, so its a penalty. Any ref can see this, which is why since there apparently is a ref (hard to believe) in this games, they must be supporting the other team…Most of the case, refs don't considered is as a foul if the ball's pretty far from the attacker and this is the case with Mei and Urushi. If you talk about the shirt-tugging, yes it's a foul; but defenders usually play "innocent" by playing in the gray area: tugging the attacker for just a split of second and just a tiny bit part of the shirts. When they're already in advantage, they let go the attacker and steal the ball so the ref doesn't call it as a foul.
It's also clear that she uses her body to block the ref's POV.I mean here its pretty clear. Attacker was faster and suddenly the defender comes first, only reason its a clear shirt pull. If I didnt know better I would think they played vs Madrid and the refs…It's also clear that she uses her body to block the ref's POV.
Also iirc, the ref is from Bara no En. You can check again in chapter 7.1.
