I kinda feel like this is a cop out. If you were going to make her die, then actually make her die; otherwise you should just make it a regular happy ending. It just doesn't really sit well with me.

ah i was wondering if you weren't going to add the trajedy tag till the last minute. i gotta say this would've been a lot better without having to justify itself with all the pseudo-science. still i guess it shows that this really is a movie adaptation (or is it the other way around?). thanks for translating the whole thing for us.

So what happened there at the end? Was she stuck in lost time for years before finally managing to escape it years later? Or did he manage to reenter it one day years later? Is it tragedy? Or partial tragedy that leads to a happy end?
Either way, I've enjoyed this. It's short but sweet.

Wait what happened
Is she stuck in Lost Time or something? I’m kinda confused.
Why hasn’t she grown but he has?

@TakeiDaloui Don't think the last page is talking about the phenomenon they called loss time but about the actual 'loss time' or to say additional time/overtime. Maybe that makes more sense.

My impression of all this is that yes it was kind of a ham-handed ending, but then, what's the alternative? Another one of those, like the lying pancreas in cooking April? So yeah, I'll take the ending but I'm much more focused on the journey.

The sciencey mumbo jumbo ended up being distracting as well as a pain in the zit-infested arse to translate, more so because it didn't really make any sense. It licked the surface of some of the scientific theories so i wanted to make at least the terminology consistent. It's been many years since my physics classes and I've retained pretty much nothing from my engineering school days.

But once we free ourselves from the need to actually make sense and start to speculate wildly, the story does become more interesting. I particularly like the part where Kouji apparently gives up control over his reality and merges into Tokine's. That has an implication with regard to the ending where they may be in a perpetual loss time of just those two where whatever they wish is granted, having been freed from the shared perception that are forced upon us as well as are dependent of us.

Or it could be a standard happy ending where Kouji becomes a doctor and invents something that makes Tokine wake up and they make wild love and have like 10 puppies.

Didn't really care for this at all. It all felt too cliché and like it's all stuff I've already seen done elsewhere better, with this not really adding anything interesting to differentiate itself from said other works. Don't hate it though, it works okay-ish for what it is, and the artwork was pretty cute at times.

The fact that she didn’t age makes me have doubts but it was a fun ride nevertheless

I'll just assume in the near future, she gets cured and have a happy ending, it's not that sad of an ending, she did wake up from her coma after all and Kouji became a doctor. Either she woke up or Kouji managed to enter loss time again? I didn't get this part.

she did grow a little and she wake up from coma, mostly thanks to Kouji work after he become doctor, since there no sound in loss time and she did said she hear sound

I'm so thankful it ended with her waking from the coma. I really wanted a happy ending.
