People seem to be unable to understand the Dad's perspective and how his life's work and obsession is hurting him (metaphorically and literally) and how he trying to understand 'something' he physically cannot see or experience first hand, and only has a second hand explanation of it. He's like a color blind person trying to discover what the colors they're unable to see looks like or how it feels to see it. Tarou also has the same problem as his father. He can't let go and understand that Eve's existence really isn't a healthy 'being' to have such a strong attachment too (especially since the person Eve is a tit'd up and idealized version of is right next to him and has been for the entirety of the series) and how it also affects Ririsu. Either that, or the author will add or reveal information and will flip both Tarou, his dad, Ririsu, and Eve's perspective on the whole existence and situation that they're in.
The dad also basically has a stand, and that's cooler than anything Eve could ever be.
