Oh nice. I've said it before so I'll say it again. Tarou (including readers) is trying to give what he thinks is best for Eve. Ironically, this is what's trapping Eve by pushing for what "he" wanted all the while ignoring what "she" actually really wants. The fact that her entire self can be molded on Tarou's whim is not helping. Her loving him, being sweet and all that constitutes for best girl and wanting to stay by his side are made by Tarou. The only definite thing she truly wants that is not influenced by him is to be "fulfilled" because that's clearly not what he wanted. I thought he'll be the final boss or something because of this but it didn't play out as dramatically as I thought.

Eve has been dropping hints on wanting to be fulfilled and Tarou has been dropping hints that the one he loves is Ibusuki but can't for Eve's sake. Only Ibusuki actually went and asked her what she truly wanted. That's why my preferred ending for Eve is either she be fulfilled or stay with Ibusuki, not Tarou, as the real actualization of her self.

ah just realized xd. its just epilogue chapter is basically (or usually) a filler.
im convinced after his dad brought up few chapters back, author is giving up.
this boy was in love with a fkin delusion, also the thousands love zombie event are utter nonsense

This is a yikes from me. This manga has mutilated itself beyond recognition. At this point, no matter who wins, the ending is going to be shit. Ririsu and Ebino were a bunch of self-righteous, selfish narcissists with completely incoherent and poorly thought out plans which benefited no one but their ego's, and Eve's been contrived out of existence into some lame ass villain / incoherent mess in order to justify shoe-horning Tarou with Ririsu.

I've enjoyed this manga for the most part, though I'm not gonna miss it too much when it finally ends.

The development is obvious but it was for a long time. There has been hint of this forever now. Eve's whole purpose has always been to disappear once Tarou's love with Ibitsuki would bare fruit. and the love zombie that disapear do it happily, because their purpose has been fulfilled.
From the Start an Ibitsuki Ending would be the most happy ending for Eve.

The only sad people here to that development should be Ibino fans.

We still don't know if it will exactly finish like that but it's the way the story has been shaped to end since the very beginning honestly.
