Still prefer the legacy reader since is very basic and minimalistic and it adapt perfectly to my browser without moving any option.

Regarding the MDlist i really want to see more different layers and customization of the following list, like level 1 is to follow all manga, even the ones i read just to kill time, level 2 the very good ones, and level 3 the masterpieces you can't miss. :)

Of course each level title have a different color displayed in the main following list page, and also they can be organized into groups (following list 1, following list 2, following list 3).

Also the light-slate theme need some work, expecially the comment section, since the title and background color blended:

Yesterday: New reader is a little bloated, but can be trimmed down to a decent experience with just a few check boxes.

Today: "Something went wrong. Your browser may be unsupported." Basically nothing on the entire site works anymore. Including this, I had to change browsers to complain.
Not even enough error message to figure out what the problem is.

LE SIGH.

EDIT: Never mind, everything works fine the next day.

The update on the reader was terrible.
It always fails to load a page or two.
So I need to reload it, which is damn annoying.

New reader still doesn't work for me, and now turning pages on the legacy reader doesn't work either. These updates have been a perfect example of "Don't fix what isn't broken."

Please just put things back to how they were, most people seem to not like these changes.

Site no longer works on the Silk browser on my Kindle. Had to get on my pc to post this.

First day of the update it worked ok, but now it gives me an error saying my browser may not be supported.

@plykiya. Seamonkey 2.49.4
Uses gecko for the rendering engine, so basically equivalent to Firefox 52 ESR.

Mostly, I just dislike the completely opaque nature of the error. Though my primary browser suddenly choking on a frequently-used site when I got home from work was an unwelcome surprise.

Any way to return to old version?
Having this screen blink and swapping pages on my ipad and iphone...
Also the back button from browser always return to current page... perhaps the page was loaded twice when reading a manga chapter...?

I made the error handling a little overeager, I guess the reader worked for some people just barely enough that it could keep running despite a minor problem or two.

I'd be interested to know which browser you're using and on which platform so I can shave off these minor errors too.

Can we have "Start preloading entire chapter" keyboard shortcut mmm...~?
Probably not an official one, making the full preload a little inconvenient is by design so that it's not overused. Full preload shouldn't be necessary on non-mobile computers anyway, they don't tend to suffer from spotty WiFi.

where is the option to turn off swipe detection? I don't see it anywhere in the settings.
The swipe sensitivity dropdown, maybe it's not as obvious as I thought. I should reorder the items so that "Off" is on top.

To me, today almost everything is good (the ability to hide the main banner is particularly appreciated). The only thing that's bugging me is: as I'm reading the page suddenly scrolls back to the beginning (I'm in long strip mode, preload 20); I suppose it happens when it finishes loading all images, but I'm not sure.

I've been having big trouble with the new reader since the update as a mobile user.; whenever I scroll the page down, it just keeps going to the next page. I've tried a handful of different things, but I can't seem to get it to stop.

I figured it out, sorry. I should have read more of the comments before posting.

I'm on mobile long strip and while scrolling and moving the screen it taps the page to skip to next page which adjust where it scrolls is there a wsy to disable that for long strip.

Not right now, I was going to add a thing where you could try to reload a failed image but it wasn't a high priority so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

The new reader now "works" with my iPad on IOS 10.2, so I've been able to switch over to it finally. I say "works" because the settings pop up does not seem to work, (will show up but pushing the buttons has no effect) but since the defaults are basically my preferred settings, this is not a big issue to me.

I may be able to try to debug why settings are not working, but not until I get home from vacation.
