you know, up until this chapter I actually feel really bad for MC. he’s insanely busy here and basically handling everything on his own, from problems in Japan to wars and even royal family issues. meanwhile the other NPCs are just sitting back and enjoying the results of Kento’s hard work
If the previous 'demon king' faced similar hurdles, I'd kind of understand why he would have snapped and gone crazy..you know, up until this chapter I actually feel really bad for MC. he’s insanely busy here and basically handling everything on his own, from problems in Japan to wars and even royal family issues. meanwhile the other NPCs are just sitting back and enjoying the results of Kento’s hard
We havent been given a full grasp of how his necromany works after all, the conditions for resurrecting someone thats been dead for a while. Such as if necromancy works on a targets location of death (in this case it would be inside the garrison) or resurrecting him from his corpse (which would be difficult since the soldiers just dumped his body, god only know where, in the forest for the monsters to eat) so i think it would be difficult for Kento to manage it. But i think even if hr were to find a way to bring his classmate back after so long he would end up adding to skeleton group. Although i can say it would definetly make for an interesting twist for the story.I can't remember, have they given us a reason he hasn't resurrected the dead classmate as one of his undead? Just a respect thing? They'd be the first classmates able to go home since his undead can travel through his portals, and we know not every undead under him look like undead. They probably have increased loyalty but they aren't seemingly perfectly enslaved since the skeleton knights have stood against him when they know he'll regret his rage filled actions.

Funayama's body was torn apart by goblins, so he couldn't be revived as undead. That was the reason he was dumped into the forest, they eat the bones too, so, not even a skeleton to resurrect.I can't remember, have they given us a reason he hasn't resurrected the dead classmate as one of his undead? You're welcome! Hopefully by tomorrow at the latest i'll have ch59 uploaded, catching us up to where the RAW's are currently atThank you for the chapter
I appreciate your insight, thankfully as of right now im only 6 out 30 pages into doing ch59 so i only had to redo 2 sections to replace out "Balshania" with it's correction. Once again thanks for the insight, review, and encouragement! Thanks for the translation! "Barshania" is what the book fantranslator went for for that other nation, it will be important to future chapters, so you should make sure it doesn't get spelled a bunch of different ways like happened this time. Aside from that and an error on page 2 when Basten is supposed to being given orders, pretty good.
