Guys.
You're all raging for all the wrong reasons.
This isn't about the stupid tropes of Japanese manga. Or rather, in a sense, it is, but it's coming at it from an angle you haven't looked at yet:
The Mangaka's Perspective.
Have you guys even stopped to consider that Death of the Author IS NOT a thing here, and the mangaka is actually trying to get people to understand what it's like to be treated this way, and how hopeless and demoralizing it feels?
That's the thing about a lot of these isekai stories. A lot of these mangaka are just blowing off steam from all the boiling outrage they feel at their own society. And you know what? Half the time the wishful thinking isn't about the power trip.
Instead, it's about the desire to make others understand what they've gone through.
If that's too complex for some of you to grok, then maybe you should read something else.
