Guys.

You're all raging for all the wrong reasons.

This isn't about the stupid tropes of Japanese manga. Or rather, in a sense, it is, but it's coming at it from an angle you haven't looked at yet:

The Mangaka's Perspective.

Have you guys even stopped to consider that Death of the Author IS NOT a thing here, and the mangaka is actually trying to get people to understand what it's like to be treated this way, and how hopeless and demoralizing it feels?

That's the thing about a lot of these isekai stories. A lot of these mangaka are just blowing off steam from all the boiling outrage they feel at their own society. And you know what? Half the time the wishful thinking isn't about the power trip.

Instead, it's about the desire to make others understand what they've gone through.

If that's too complex for some of you to grok, then maybe you should read something else.

Oh yeah, changes from the novel:
  • There was a Meisa-chan and Amanda scene between the conversation with the teachers and the orders for the Demon King’s Army. Meisa made wild assumptions about what was wrong (Meisa has terrible intuition).
  • Kento addressed his Army telepathically while Meisa was sleeping cuddled up to him, she sleep talked at the end of the scene. I can see why this was changed so he could emote, and cuz it’d be weird.
Based on the previews, the complete manga chapter 51 covers from the beginning of WN chapter 87 to early WN89. 52.2’s preview shows something exciting: Kento on his way to Earth!

Kento discovers he can shadow portal back to Earth. When Kento talks to a police officer, he is laughed off as a Kento impersonator. Someone had claimed to be Kento, and it took a long time for his dad to verify the identity, causing people to pretend to be Kento as a gag.

Kento finds out why his father was afraid to face his son: In a newspaper archive he reads about how his mother stabbed his father over the love affair he was having with his secretary, before the mother unalived herself in prison.

So Kento has to come to terms with all that emotionally, interact with Japanese authorities, establish his authority over Lastock and it’s city using his Demon King persona, deal with some romantic drama, and figure out how to get the students home. Along the way he will discover his ambition.
This new arc lasted ~43 web novel chapters (88-131).
You forgot the best part.

Kento remains a little servile bitch for the japanese govt for about 100ch

He needs something from them, that gives them leverage. He is getting paid, and what he needs from them.

So the skelly will interfere with MC and hold his hand back when he is about to stab someone, but he is nowhere to be seen whenever MC is being manhandled by every douche in the summoned group? WTF? They are sentient right? I guess MC being graved, tossed around and punched are not reason enough to draw your sword and protect your master, but your master growing a pair and committing to their revenge is where you draw the line and step it to interfere? What bullshit.

Sheesh... they really are incapable of breaking out of the japanese society mould and accept they're not in Kansas anymore, can't they? The Entitlement.... It's Real™
What're they going to do? Write a Sternly Worded Letter of Disapproval?

Also... Good idea to assault the Messenger who happens to control several pocket nukes. Really good idea...
i dont think its entitlement, maybe a diferent type of mindset from japanese culture, i really dont know, the characters from a chinese manhua are different but those that i read are about cultivation martial arts and imortality, but even the korean manwha characters have a different mindset,if it was me if im in a different world first thing i want to do is adapt to the new world rules and think that common sense from my modern world cant be applyed,so adapt to situation is a priority

Okay, the children being entitled pricks, fine. The adult being one?
As War Daddy put it: "Shoot that guy." (Can't post gifs or even reddit images, worthless fucking forum...)
