Page 6: "...could you take in Celia?"

The statement in the current version's context carries the meaning that he's asking Kokubun to shelter Celia, but the conversation that follows indicates Takayama wants to live with her. If so, the line should have been "I'd like to take in Celia", or something to that effect.

I like how they actually talk about what happened in their original world. Like, yikes, the building collapsed and killed multiple people. It's not like their home world stopped existing when they left it.

I can also understand how some families would move away from said area if it was too painful for them to stay knowing their child died/disappeared without any explanation.

Other isekai just use the teleporting as a start, but i feel like its just a cheap method to give someone powers.

Hmm I agree with your interpretation. I have changed it to “I’d like to take in Celia” to better reflect the intended meaning.

Three months is really short periode of before move on when someone if missing, but I remember correctly that his parents are busy persons. Maybe they are moves oversea for a job and never came back because they though their child never came back? Not sure.

Thank you for the update!

I see two possibilities:
  1. His parents moved to a different apartment.
  2. His parents were somehow among the victims of the school building's collapse.
His reaction is (naturally) childish. He should look up what did happen to his parents. As his next step should be contacting authorities, he should simply also ask them about his parents.

Thank u always for ur great work...
^^...

I just kinda reminded that just 3 month(?) had passed there, then again in just 3 month the parent move? Did they really busy or want to move out to wash away the sadness or?
?.?...

But yeah, many head tend to get better idea but then again many head mostly make the situation more chaotic...
XD...

If more than 2 month had passed, I would assume the demolition would have progressed further than was shown. Japanese government don't flounder around with construction like say the U.S..
I think it's the investigation that taking the time there, like around 2-3 month, before they stop it n start the cleaning process?
With how bizarre the whole situation, even if international power move to investigate too it's not a weird thing...
n yeah, just give Japan 1 week n I think the whole mess will already sparkling clean...
XD...
