Page 19 we have the Saint/Healer still next to the MC, suddenly she's gone and no familiar notices a knight approaching the MC from behind. quite sus, but it seems highly unlikely for MC to die, and the situation might even prove beneficial towards disciplining the current escaping group, they saw/noticed how easily the knights would kill someone, so these groups might be less foolish than the previous ones.

The only enemy that witnessed the plan and stabbed him: "Don't kill him! Lock him away somew

it great that MC holding to his moral compass instead like others story where they trying to justifying killing but sparring the boss instead. but sure it definitely gonna rise problem in future.

also bet if she know all the overworlders is on neighbouring kingdoms she must send someone to get them back peacefully (waging a war definitely gonna make her losing her standing more). and if it true, lemme guess. that princess sister maid since that stupid Hero definitely gonna betray everyone
Yuika's maid knows everything but they left her behind i know i would not have done that in kents position keep the enemy as confused and unable to act as long as possible

I get he's gonna end up fine PHYSICALLY but I wonder how this will affect him mentally. Like, we saw how death affected him the first time a bit (it caused him to awaken his powers due to the mental strain), it happening a second time after being under so much stress could probably lead to him completely breaking down.

I wouldn't rely on that if it were me. He's been shown to be able to revive himself fully healed, but what happens if a lesser healer stops you from dying and leaves you with a crippling injury once you're "fully healed" to the best of their ability?
Good point, one I'd expect from a mage!

Thanks for the translation! In page six, I think both "family" are supposed to be "co-worker" or the like, it was in the webnovel Comrades?

Changes from WN:
  • Kent tied up the people in the office.
  • Fred had a fight with one of the knights guarding the teachers, and knocked him out.
  • Yuika was in the middle of healing townspeople, and Eruna was knocked out (and NEVER seen again). Yuika hugged Kent, calling his name.
  • The messenger Camilla sent was her personal handmaid, Bacchus. Probably going to be replaced with Eruna in the manga for future scenes.
  • The carriages were pulled by 5 lizardmen and Basten. There was more tension, because they were waiting for the skeletons to finish training the lizardmen in order to be prepared for the operation.
  • The knight didn't tell Kent to kill him.
I like how Camilla's behavior makes perfect sense in light of future information.
I think these have to all be light novel changes brought to the manga, because I was thinking this went a lot smoother than I remembered. It makes me really interested to see how much other things change too.

Probably so. Really, the biggest change period so far is Yuika's personality and relationship to Kent. Light Novels care a lot about what I call the 'waifu arms race', making people argue over who's best girl and selling merch of those girls. But I think Yuika's primary WN role isn't really to be a waifu, but a literary foil.

Uhh, it's just a flesh wound? I mean, Kento survived being eaten alive...

Plus I'm guessing Yuika will heal him

Would've drugged the maid too, and any witnesses. They'll just rat on the princess. And also throw suspicion on themselves for not being asleep like the rest of the camp.

and giving her brothers an excuse wage a war against that country they are in?
Well he doesn’t care who takes the throne, he just wants to get the princess to send them back, which she does know how to do.

Honestly the MC is being too nice. Remember at the beginning when he kept talking about r@ping her in revenge for being thrown into the forest to die?

Negotiation with Camilla should be in volume 10 of the manga. I know a lot of fantl sites lost their copy of half of the webnovel version of that scene.

Welp, this is what happens when you execute a plan without seeing the full scope of the situation. Especially since the past comes back to haunt you

hmmm, rather, I think the lesson here is the opposite. It is good to take the time to assess your situation and plan, but taking to long and doing too many checks gives your opposition time to prepare aswell. Some of the time and preparations made may have been unnecessary and gave away what they were doing, leading to this situation. A hard won lesson, you cannot sit permanently amid the 'planning' stages.
