storyline 8/10 good but not excellent. consistent and has SOME interesting plots
execution 8/10 not the best but good enough for this. one complaint is the sudden jump in strength of the mc. the jump in strength is a little too sudden.
idea 8/10 an original idea mixed with the basic cliche fantasy isekai. not completely original but its original enough and interesting
overall 8/10

There's no real likable characters in this story, everyone's either flat, has one character-defining trait, or is an unjustifiable asshole. The plot is bland and never goes anywhere. It's just, not good.

And the thing is, almost every facet of the story sets up a really good revenge/assassination plot. The protag's magic abilities, the "betrayal", the dynamic between the protag and his classmates-- the only thing that doesn't, is his child-like, pushover, personality. Don't get me wrong, would having an edgy teenaged assassin automatically make it good? Of course not. If fact, that might do it even more of a disservice. However, would a non-shota character make this story better? Absolutely.

If you're looking for something to kill time, this might do it. It's not interesting, doesn't explore any complex themes-- or any themes at all really, and isn't all that unique or creative. But it's readable.

Like it's a generic "thrown out as useless, actually OP" trope harem manga, so I didn't expect much.

But now he has abilities that are a sure kill on anyone and anything, does absolutely nothing with it, and the commander who killed or has ordered to kill his friends he makes.... her wet her bed. That's fucking it.
Just not worth the effort to read this garbage.

Pretty bad ngl, generic ass isekai "op but considered trash and tossed aside" setup, generic ass fantasy world, bland ass "shy and noble" "personality", weak attempt to give depth to the story that fails by telling and not showing and weird parts where it either gets horny or gory.
If you're in the habit of reading isekai slop this'll do, but it isn't good, it's like drinking Resident mustard because you didn't find Dr Pepper

I don't really get why this is rated so poorly. It's actually written well with solid fundamentals, and unlike so many other OP MCs this actually allows for him to fail in a way that feels natural and allows for him to grow as a character. He also largely feels like what you'd expect from a middle schooler in how he behaves. Does this tread over a lot of familiar cliches? Sure, but at the same time it doesn't use those cliches as a crutch like the more mediocre isekai do. The world building is solid. Like everything I've read in the 13 chapters I'm at so far delivers a 7/10 not a 6.5. Sure that's not a huge difference in score, but I do think this is legitimately good (rather than fine) if you rate it off of fundamental storytelling rules and target audience.
