You'd think by now, a character that talks a bunch of s--- would be able to back up their words at least to some extent. But nah, characters with no skills or abilities to defend themselves arrogantly prattle on about how cartoonishly evil they are while the literal grim reaper is standing right in front of them =0v.

well i would be DAMN nervous if i saw a guy behind me and he did knock out my henchmen silent and quick. that is common sense.
Not this guy. bragging and taunting him. basically bullying the dragon trope.. and too dumb to live trope as well.

Mc definitely breaks the power scale since he was able to solo the demon lord. For all we know this dude (when he’s not drunk) could actually have been one of the best fighters in the kingdom but he can’t do much against a threat like that

What's he doing to the guy's hand on page 21 in the 'GIIH' panel?
stabbing him with a fork…I don’t know why. Maybe his way of giving the restaurant owner some revenge.

That... is the MC driving an actual fork through the culprit's hand.
If it's drawn as intended.. in a way that would cause extreme pain while severing most of the nerves that makes your fingers function. Which makes sense since the culprit is drawn as a left-handed fighter..

Looks like the liberated sword is then used to nail the culprit to the ground through the upper right arm.
One can only assume what our MC does offscreen with the random sharp bits he's collecting from the surroundings...

Happy dreams.... ;)
