Judging from her reaction to his greeting, she's out of her depth, and is just spilling the spaghetti. I don't expect it, but a scene showing her beating herself up over it later would do wonders.

i’d say a mix of naive, overly trusting, and a bit of a crush are making her talk more than she should. She doesnt see mc as an enemy and seems to only think the demons are those she should be wary of. Since he just fought against the demons, that means he’s on her side.

She's a paragon type. Protect the weak, trust in the goodness of people, etc.
And as with shounen trope, someone risking their life to help you = very trustworthy.

She can have doubt/hostility to individuals, but that only come after they do something to start it first (like the goddess ditching MC)

Takao though would probably turn it into a trade with them taking turns to ask questions.

"Potential companions" MC is not dumb enough to kill off those who aren't a threat to him when his object of revenge is just the goddess.

To be hair we say naive it, naive that but it's easy when we are a spectator.
In her mind it's humanity against the monsters, she only had to deal with minor side things from other people.
So when she sees a guy fighting a wave of powerful monsters risking his life to aid her allies it's pretty understandable to think the guy is worth of some answers. She isn't a shrewd strategist.

You read the same manga? She has more than enough experience to not trust someone instantly.
She's been plotted against by the goddess and by her classmates.
She's seen classmates abandon weaker classmates which is why she's sticking up for the weak ones.
It's easy to say naive when you know what it means to be naive. And she is naive. Loyal, brave, honest good person, but naive.
