@Kaarme If we assume that this translation and adaptation are on point, it's also quite literally stated that she was offering to be his slave, since if he was misunderstanding her she would have had some reaction if only embarrassment. I can interpret this as having nothing to do with the cup or her wanting to repay him and it's all her just really wanting his D, but we can point to their previous interactions to show that the text contradicts such an interpretation. Granted, if there was a mistake between this and the original works, or even if the author in the original works accidentally put in the Kanji for 'slave' when they meant a different one, then the idea of her offering to be his knight (which I personally wouldn't have a problem with, it would seem out of the ordinary to go there immediately but there's been more then enough shown to support the idea that she's the type of character who would 'devote' herself so fully to ideas like that) could certainly be the more accurate one. Also, the offering of the sword can work in either sense, as either a sword slave or a knight.

@shanoc5902 Master-servant relationship is not a master-slave relationship. I don't know about the raws, but I'd be quite surprised if the translator replaced a slave with a servant. You can be someone's servant as a work, like a footman or a maid. I'd say, at most, she was offering herself as an indentured servant, in order to repay him. I quite appreciate the dude's attitude for turning that kind of degree of servitude down. It's a bother, honestly. If you have a servant, you are responsible for the servant. It's much better if she just follows along by her own will, as long as she wants. Since she recognises his superior power (and indeed was offering herself as a servant), I reckon she would follow his orders in crucial situations just fine. On the other hand, if there's not too much of master-servant relationship, she would still feel more free to advice him if she believes he's making a mistake.

Hes over level 1000
I have no doubt in my mind that he could just poke the monsters with a stick and they would die but he just keeps using poison like a numb skull

How did he kill gargoyles with poison? This was stupid.

This guy had some outrageous stats but just uses the same moves he had since the beginning. He should explore different options or this’ll become boring.

Lol chill did she just offer to become a life-time slave/servant just for a cup. they better not gloss over this later because no normal interaction would go this way.

He gave her a cup. In response, instead of offering to pay him back, or saying she owes him, or just saying "thanks!", she immediately offers her body and soul, pledging her very life away to protect him. Yes, this is definitely reasonable, logical characterization and plot development.

@incognegro74 that's the result when you turn a whole chapter into a bubble text.

@ThunderaMaou @Kampfarsch Sometimes people forget how bad his stats are.
His stats can make him run fast and last longer than normal humans. But the S-class heroes can jump around like birds and dodge monster's attack

Gargoyle was killed with poison.

Will Golem be killed with Poison?

Will Poison Wasps or Poisonous Plant Monsters be killed with Poison?
Actually, scratch it, we don't have enough Jungle-type monsters in Isekai, too much underground stuff.
