They are an important trump card of the Goddess Vysis, who is the main target for the MC's revenge. They were due this beat down, as the successors to the Dragon Knights Touka took down already.

Will they be performing a battle royale amongst themselves in a berserked manner with the winner getting the grand prize of multiple status ailment, or will we get a paralysis poison combo, or perhaps each one will die a different gruesome death?

Everyone else will probably get some combo of berserk or poison+paralysis, but I assume the main guy will probably just get paralysis only so MC can do the "now you gotta watch as your comrades die and kill eachother" bit (since with this guy he's obviously going for mental damage too), then he'll just off him after that.

Either way it's clear Satsuki was able to regain some level of consciousness, and we know this not just because he was able to speak but also because his pupil becomes visible in the art again just before he's shown to finally die.

And I wouldn't put it past Touka to change how he uses his powers in order to sow even more terror in his next victims. He's really mad right now and wants Lewin and his merry band to know that they're at his mercy and not even the Vysis' favor can save them.

Keep in mind, that it's Japan, which is redemption crazy. Evil, but sad backstory -> cleansed/cured/redeemed. So author needs to make it clear that these people deserve what they get.

Also, as I've pointed out before, this is realistic. There are plenty of people who think exactly this way - that some other race(s) is just subhuman vermin that needs to be wiped out to make the world a little more livable. And they don't feel evil, and they have friends and people that they care about. (You'll find plenty of examples in one of the current conflicts.)

Except for some bonafide psychopaths who are mentally incapable and even those would be able to pretend to have empathy because they know how others would perceive them. Your idea of evil is a construct created specifically to make it easy to hate people by othering them to a degree where they "feel no evil", so it's ok to exterminate them. Kinda ironic

Yeah well, simple minds can kill people because they think the person is evil.
Even today propaganda works very well.

I think they treated the story pretty well.
My biggest complain was the use of 3D models to cut costs. They used 3D for the monsters, those were fine IMO, they were weird, but it fitted the freakish nature of the monsters, but they used 3D models even for the main characters, and not for action scenes with elaborated animations, but for simple scenes where Touka and Seras were just standing in front of each other talking.
The anime took a week off during the season and the next episodes had way less weird 3D models.
If it ever gets a 2nd season, I hope the studio has a bit more budget.

Oh man, this is HYPE. The one guy who was one of the strongest that they sent out comes back in a confused state and tries to take them down. Inducing panic on all of them, classic. Nice work MC, this is going to be a great next few chapters.
