The stem can be dried and made into straws. Cows may also feed on this.
The seed, rice or the smaller broken rice during the process of splitting the rice from its husk can be straight up used as feed for chickens, birds, etc.
The husk can be used as fuel, or can be grinded and cooked into another type of animal feed for omnivores such as pigs or even dogs. Sometimes during famines, people would feed on this too.
And the cooked rice can once again be used to feed human but also livestock.
