Tldr: miku made killing all demons close to impossible without hurting humanity big time in the process and made idaten's reason to kill their kind meaningless even if they do it.
Idaten decided to purge demons in the first place bc
1) it's like a duty for them according to rin + rin said so. Others can't really dissuade rin.
2) they thought demons might destroy all humanity so why not.
But even after they did what rin told them to do, ysley prioritised peaceful environment for humanity so he took precautions against chaos after the war.
These idatens are used to the peaceful times hence the title. Miku took advantage of this and bid her time. Then took advantage of humans replicating demonification technology and then spread their own demonification technology, it's like saying "humanity did this to themselves".
We don't know anything other than the fact that humanity and demon race are too intertwined to winnow one side out from another.
Miku is basically saying "what's done is done, so let's stop fighting and talk about Peace, we will not destroy humanity".
Miku knew they got no chance of winning from the start but she ran away and created a situation that even if idaten kills them at that point, demon race persists so idaten's reason to kill her and others became meaningless, especially when miku is the one asking for peace, in logic.
And this is not even your usual edgy. At least author comes up with based reasons for plot. There's edgy stuff not for the sake of being edgy but for the sake of improving the story. Based author.
First of all; the reasons we already know is meaningless since the start for Idatens(the seal is bugged)
All Idatens have been doing since the start of this series is defending themselves from demons.
1. Rin can already be pacified because she doesn't really gaf in the end, especially since we know that the demonlord is her gramps.
2. "Why not", Idaten can do whatever they want was literally my point, this does nothing if they still cared to kill demons.
It doesn't matter if "humans did this themselves", not to Idatens anyways, and my point was that Miku can already pursue peace since all Idatens were doing the entire series is protecting themselves while not giving af.
Again, you seem to not understand that Idatens don't gaf at all about this, Idatens don't care about annihilating demons.
TLDR; If she was going to ask for peace 27 years ago, they'll most likely just be sure ig, as long as humans don't get fked for it. This just make things convoluted and edgy, which is worse as my example doesn't require that.
