I forget when and why does the hero have the mc's recovery ring
To be honest he is overdoing it for the ring, he should have at least bought another year or 2.Huh, interesting that the MC is starting to reveal all his powers to the public. Guess he really wants that ring. I guess it makes some sense because he is pretty close to max level, so unless he can break through the level cap (which I don't doubt he will), he won't really be getting that much stronger.
I also wonder if guard break was Doberg's extra skill. It doesn't really feel like an effective skill against monsters who don't wield weapons.
If more stars mean a higher max level, then shouldn't there be a difference in max level between the 3 star talents and the 1 star talents? Kurena (Swordmaster) is a 3 star talent while Dogora (Ax Wielding) is a 1 star talent, but they both seem to have the same level cap of 60. The MC also said that, in chapter 34, that the hero is also still at level 60. I guess the hero could be lying because we've never seen his actual level (to my recollection). However, I still feel like that's a bit cheap if the MC is the only person able to break away from the level 60 ceiling because of his stars seeing as the stars don't seem to affect the other character's level caps in any way.As for being close to max level, generally in gacha games, the more stars the higher the max level. But they also need more exp to level up. So not only is he behind everyone else in level, his max level is probably far away.
Yeah, I guess that's true, depending on what the definition of a guard break is. In my opinion, guard breaking sounds like literally breaking a gaurd - fighting game style. Wouldn't be too surprised if guard breaking extends to armor, I guess. And guard break is an extremely useful skill. Think about it, higher level monsters have strong defense by default. It would let him defeat monsters stronger than him especially in parties
It's kind of par for the course of every single "the MC has an allegedly bad class/skill/element" manga.Everyone be like "wow, so being a 'Summoner' means he can SUMMON things?". Like, really bro?
Doesn't he get most of his stats from his summons, rather than from his levels?unless he can break through the level cap (which I don't doubt he will), he won't really be getting that much stronger.
I was under the assumption that his summoning just raises solely with his level, but looking back on the earlier chapters, that might not be true. I guess he just thinks that the mana ring is worth the risk.Doesn't he get most of his stats from his summons, rather than from his levels?
My memory may be bad but was he talking about the hero or the holy sword guy? The convo was about how he wants to find a way to improve kurinas level beyond 60.If more stars mean a higher max level, then shouldn't there be a difference in max level between the 3 star talents and the 1 star talents? Kurena (Swordmaster) is a 3 star talent while Dogora (Ax Wielding) is a 1 star talent, but they both seem to have the same level cap of 60. They thought the hero will be holding back most of his strength against of student doing nothing but blocking the hero's blows, without trying to return any attacks. They even stopped in the middle to chat. It would look like watching a one-sided training session; an increadibly boring fight compared to the hero fighting against someone who can fight back and against whom the hero would need to put in more effort. So a new student is taking hits from the hero, the strongest in the world and people in audience ask why it is so boring? Most would find it amazing even if the combat is stale.
Though I hope he wont be suspected of being a demon king considering he also controls monsters
Yeah, that's my impression too. The the ring gives him something levels and stats don't.I guess he just thinks that the mana ring is worth the risk.
