Does that mean her family used to be also assassins and they used her sister for the killing but were relieved of their "job" when the sister moved to another family, did the sister always belong to the assassin organization and she went from the role of the killer child to the role of the mother of another killer child ?

Feels like if they did have assassins there are other houses to choose from/places to hide that's not rly a hidden room but who knows maybe the author was really into architecture when writing it

What a plot twist. Didn't expect that and now it's getting more interesting.
Thank you for the release, keep it up!

Think she was just sold by the woman parents due to debt. Maybe bought by a yakuza family or something. Then was used as a killer

We still don't even know if the murders are connected to the house tenants. Hell, up until Yuzuki appeared in the story, we don't even know if the house had anything strange going on at all aside from the bizarre floor plan. For all I know, the family could've made their house that way because of some spiritual belief, or maybe they're just really shit at interior design. Even now, the story is built upon nothing but assumptions upon assumptions from two dudes who had way too much free time.

And yet for some reason I can't stop reading it. It's just too damn interesting. So far, it's a story built entirely upon intrigue and guesswork (and up until this chapter's reveal, I'm not even sure if there ever was a mystery at all), yet it's probably one of the best things I've read in recent years.

That's a really interesting story so far.

He shouldn't believe her about this. She lied the first time, what would prevent her from lying for the second time?
She could be the mastermind trying to find the family that finally escaped from her.

I knew there was something wrong with this woman! She already lied naturally once, i wouldn't fall for that story a second time. If i were that guy, i'd just get the hell out of this shit~

WHAT?! How the heck does her sister just suddenly get adopted or something?? There better be a damn good explanation! D:
Deploying my Speculator Hat. Perhaps Ayano --

ya beat me to it. Would guess that Ayano used to be the equivalent of Kurihara's hypothetical secret child/"Boy A."

Also, I know they set up Kurihara as a mystery nut with his wall of detective novels, and I know true crime aficionados in real life who are, ah, passionate about coming up with hypothetical murder, but that dude seems suspicious. Hope I am wrong about him.
maybe the author was really into architecture when writing it

This explains everything.

People are asking why her sister disappeared. While I was wondering why she lied about being the wife of a victim in the first place?
