Probably a hidden door in that small closet looking room on the second floor. The first floor is fucking terrible though with all those unconnected rooms forcing you to walk around in the foyer. Not to mention so much wasted space in a "grand" foyer that won't even look grand because of how the second story will make the dead space under the stairs look gloomy. You can tell that this was a house designed to look like a human being in the floor plan

Can't see a door from the outside, just the three windows (they dont touch the floor) so the whole balcony could just be for show to make the house look good. Also putting an elderly person's room on the second floor only accessible by steep staircases?

And it's a square room right in the middle with no windows, even...

I went back to look into the Hikura House stuff mentioned a few chapters ago and page 34 of Chapter 27 is raising eyebrows.

The kid that the president of Hikura House supposedly abused when he was young is also wearing pigtails. The timeline doesn't line up so it's not his daughter (his daughter would have been born around the time this rumour began to spread), but could this be more than a coincidence?

I've noticed that too. A lack of windows was suspicious in past cases, I wonder what it'll cause this time.
It's interesting that the Grandma seems to be basically imprisoned, with no windows in her room, and on the second floor...

Probably hidden. Recently I watched a video tour of a Japanese wealthy house, and the stairs to the roof balcony was hidden behind a closet.

Pretty sure you don't. I've seen lots of rich person houses with inaccessible decorative balconies like that. Sometimes they're even on the inside.
Mansions used to be large so Staff (and visiting family) could live there but they don't do that anymore so nowadays it's all about looking big with lots of wasted space they don't know what to do with.
