Haha, it's not really that big of a deal, but it is annoying that the preferences are so homogenous. I did read some mangas where some characters go "I prefer it this way", but once in a while I'd like to see one that goes "Fuck, that's disgusting", especially for something as alien to the characters like raw fish and rice+raw egg.
