on the page showing Melody leaving via the door, the sage bubble should be 'traces of such' since the explanation is that since she only hit the detection ward on the way in, the sage has yet to detect her leaving thus both of them assumes the mysterious intruder is still inside the forest.

It's otome game setting.

If it's not obvious by the mystery voice calling her the saintess/op power she has, Melody is in fact THE og heroine but since she never played the game and only want to be a maid....obviously she doesn't know/care about the game plot...but she'll ends up interacting with plot relevant characters anyway.

Like her ojou right here was in fact a minor villain in the game, but due to Melody becoming her maid she avoided the downward spiral into villainy.

I'll avoid spoiling some of the plot shenanigan Melody ends up doing for now.


The people who remember the plot are in fact the crown prince and his villainess fiancee whose relation pre-reincarnation I kinda skip over (they were sitting next to Ritsuko on the plane) but they're working together to prevent catastrophic events of the plot....which Melody sorta accidentally fulfill her saintess role in that regard.

Their schedule carriage service i.e. public transport mentioned in ch2 was the thing that let Melody arrive at the capital without the knight escorting her back.
So while they can't trigger the heroine encounter event properly because Melody being Melody, they've managed to save the country nonetheless just by enabling Melody to be in the capital.
