Dunno, something doesn't sit right with me when thinking about where The Best Driver in the World™ can make the most positive impact on the world...

Especially since he already chose a profession where he is making a big positive impact. I wouldn't have been bothered if he was instead scouted while playing a racing simulator in the arcades, for example.

There’s definitely that moral aspect to contend with. I believe it could be done tactfully, perhaps the driver makes a critical mistake and gets fired, serving as motivation to get better at driving. Or perhaps he uses the funds to donate to medicine or helps train new ambulance drivers. Maybe he even keeps both jobs and has to juggle his time, though that won’t really be feasible beyond local rallying.
