Add a feature that hides series with the said content, just like hentai mangas to avoid hate/rage and keep the comment section clean. The reason will be long, but if you want want you can continue to read.

2019 is the year where most people are easily offended by many things. One of the most hated is Sexual violence, for obvious reasons. Most, if not all, are getting pulled in by any series with the content, and will proceed to hate on it. They even think that their opinions are what matters the most, and the people who actually likes the series has some loose screws on their head. This is seriously a bad experience when you're just trying to read the comments for actual discussion on whats happening on the series.

Can't they just exclude it in their settings? Automatically putting it on could work a bit, but where do you want to draw the line to protect people from getting offended(when almost everything can be offending to someone)?

@Kazu19 Users can set their own genre filters. People hate yaoi or manhwa/manhua with a burning passion even more than sexual violence but we aren't gonna hide any of them by default. If people are willingly reading a story after reading whatever tag it has and reacts badly to the story, that doesn't change the fact they willingly chose to read it lol. People are allowed to dislike a series.

Hentai is hidden by default because the site got banned for it in other countries about a year ago.

No.

You don't censor things you don't like only to give some 4 chan Troll a tool to abuse against yourself.

If I was a troll and you started this censoring idea, I would then start tagging everything as sexual violence if it guaranteed whatever got that tag was censored. Eventually I would succeed in getting something like Joshi Kausei or Youjo Senki censored because a moderator missed a frivolous tag request.

This has happened before, 4-chan used a tagging censorship exploit to flood Tumblr with Porn, Gore and Memes, do not be Tumblr.

If you get offended by something just don't read it. What you may find offensive others might view as completely normal/hilarious.

Also if you if you put an automatic censor that limits the amount of people able to find those types of series because lets face it
some people are just to lazy to go alter their settings.

OP- You idea is not bad to avoid certain kind of anti-anime parties along a certain agenda, but consider that H manga are hidden by default only because MD can be banned on certain search engines and countries otherwise even this content is not hidden. Is an admin choice.
There are filters that users can use on certain content, indeed is not enought because such people want to ban and remove everything they do not like for everyone else, is their twisted moral, the moral of minorities and political correct, so the only tool you can use in these cases is to report to moderation.
MD admins are very open to every kind of content about japanese fictional media, they are scanlators and fansubbers themselves in the first place, true fans.
