I feel like the author of this has some personal frustration he is trying vent out, this looks edgy without having an aim, is like the writing comes from anger and frustration.
I don't find this to be good, the story, the characters, the aimless impotent frustration I sense from the writing.
The art makes me think that the artist doesn't believe in this chapter either.

Feels more like a fetish thing to me.

I think I read somewhere the author has some medical issues? That's why the publication is kinda slow.

OTOH, despite the gamey premise, I think story wise it's structured kinda like mid-2000s magic academy LNs. So the story develops by introducing new antagonists from the school background. The first one will actually be this 'friend' character.

But that's just my guess. Anyone who's read the novel, share insight please.
