This is the third minor mystery they've built up and then immediately cracked open, all building towards the bigger fish. Oddly, I feel nostalgic towards some of the late 2000s/early 2010s high school series that played out similarly with their quotidian vignettes.

At least they don't open a massive mystery that ends up being a nothing burger for multiple chapters.

Under normal circumstance, I would assume the will had critical information that Yuzu wanted to remain hidden so she traced it with parts omitted. But given how easily she admitted it, her awkward expression, and how everything has played out so far, it’s probably due to really stupid reason.

Off topic but I couldn’t help but notice how this manga would look for any excuse to show Yuzu in a swimsuit.

The real mystery is how the author seems to be unaware that Naoomi was already entitled to 25% of his dad's estate. Japanese law specifically considers legit and illegitimate children as equal inheritors. It could even be a case of Fraud that the family is hiding his existence to avoid the wife having to give up half her daughter's share.

But what if the will was in fact forged and the original will contained his dad's will of him to inherit some fortune and not just to be taken care of?

Even without a will he is supposed to be getting some. Japanese law splits it like this: the Wife gets half, and the other half is split among the kids. Naoomi only has one sibling, his sister, so he and she each get 25%

If the inheritance was already distributed fully to the wife since she is the guardian of the deceased's daughter, that settlement became legally void when a second child was discovered. She can't legally hold on to that money anymore and the lawyers have to redo the settlement.

Assuming Yuzu isn't lying, a possibility that shouldn't be ruled out (though given how the manga is developing, I don't think this is the case), this would imply that she at least learned about her father's other family through a other means than his will, and that only she had access to this information. Kazuomi's death was due to an illness, and from the context of this chapter, we can infer that it wasn't immediate. My first thought was that he told his daughter of his own volition, but this wouldn't make sense. If he wanted to tell her for the good of the Ueda family, I think there were better options. Or perhaps he was simply apologizing to her for being a piece of trash who had two families, though this would apply more to his legal wife than his daughter. What I take away from all this is that I'm more interested in knowing how Yuzu learned about her father's other family than what she did with that information.
Returning to the point in whether she was truly responsible for the false will or not. It doesn't make sense to me that she ran away from home because of the shock of her father's other family and with the final trigger being the fact that the Ueda family was going to the mansion. If she wrote in this false will that they welcomed Naomi into their family, the only thing that comes to my mind is that her father asked her to, which would make him look like an even bigger piece of trash and imply that he doesn't trust his legal family.
