I wouldn't blame the parents... kids can sometimes just be stupid. All she needs to do is tell the adults and they'd happily/awkwardly help her.God... This poor girl walking around with pockets full of soiled sanitary napkins. This is just incredibly sad levels of parent-child lack of communication.
Oh, we don't actually encourage them to be embarrassed about it... they just do...Sad that this is relatable lol. I wasnt exactly gonna go as far as carrying around a bunch of used pads with me, but I do remember pushing around trash to make sure they were hidden at the bottom of the can or wadding up toilet paper to put on top if the can was empty. I also stealthily tossed some bloody shorts in the outside trash when mother nature snuck up on me lol.
Srsly though, why the hell do we gotta make kids THIS embarrassed about something so normal and uncontrollable man.
I think its more complex than that, its a historic shame, so to speak. Women have been made to feel guilty/bad/dirty about their periods since the dawn of time. Children still very much bully each other over it. Hell even adults still treat it like its some hush hush subject not to be spoken about out loud. It's "impolite" to discuss your period, even in the most non graphic way possible.I wouldn't blame the parents... kids can sometimes just be stupid. All she needs to do is tell the adults and they'd happily/awkwardly help her.
She's basically turning this into a bigger deal than it is...
Sadly, kids aren't often encouraged in stories to actually communicate with their parents....

For some reason, in their heads, they don't think to tell their parents...
And in the older societies (in multiple cultures), young girls had multiple adult women to rely on in these times...
Based on what we saw from the first chapter, her mom is out of the picture and she finds it too embarrassing to tell her dad about her period. Which is why I said it highlights a distinct lack of communication between her and her dad. If she and her dad had a closer relationship, she'd prolly have no hesitation in telling him.I wouldn't blame the parents... kids can sometimes just be stupid. Can't blame the parent tho. She lost her mother, her dad tried his best as you can see in chapter 1God... This poor girl walking around with pockets full of soiled sanitary napkins. This is just incredibly sad levels of parent-child lack of communication.
Well, sometimes you can try your best but still come up short. It doesn't help that she seems very uncomfortable talking about "girl stuff" with her dad. Which, again, is understandable but is now causing her all sorts of problems. Can't blame the parent tho. She lost her mother, her dad tried his best as you can see in chapter 1
Honestly, it'll be such a great plot twist if Sakura isn't an actual villain.I Repeat One More, This Comic Doesn't Need Villain Man
Without the drama it's still good and cute while slightly nostalgic. Ahhh make me remember when I was dumb snotty brat i was
unfortunately some parents can also be uptight about these kinda issues too , i remember my mom always made a fuss if i didn't fully cover the pads in like toilet paper or so or like fully change out the trash bag/hide them just in case anyone would see but we rarely invited in guests anywaysThis is why you create a household where your kids are comfortable talking about most things without having to worry about being judged. Or just be proactive and talk about things with your kids in advance. It might be awkward in the moment but it will save you a lifetime of worry.
was she bullying anyone else? i just thought she was just jealous and lashing out (tho it wasn't exactly subtle/most kids wouldn't keep their mouth shut to where if i were hina i would've been like "she's being a bitch to me b/c she wants you to be her bf"), but i'd think openly being mean or just bratty/annoying with clinging to him wouldn't rly be that appealing for a boy to get a crush on you at that age.Honestly, it'll be such a great plot twist if Sakura isn't an actual villain.
She's a bit manipulative but she's a kid and maybe you're right by saying she's just jealouswas she bullying anyone else? i just thought she was just jealous and lashing out (tho it wasn't exactly subtle/most kids wouldn't keep their mouth shut to where if i were hina i would've been like "she's being a bitch to me b/c she wants you to be her bf"), but i'd think openly being mean or just bratty/annoying with clinging to him wouldn't rly be that appealing for a boy to get a crush on you at that age.
it might work on other kids her age but hopefully not other adults, unless she's a spoiled brat/have doting parentsShe's a bit manipulative but she's a kid and maybe you're right by saying she's just jealous
