I think that would have been a great start for some growth and it would show the editor that she isn't doesn't want to do things half heartedly.

I think when you're struggling with art, the worst feedback you can get in the world is something like 'It's fine', or half-hearted, vague praise. It hurts to feel like no one has anything to say about what you make. One of the things I built up is the ability to give specific, honest feedback about art when people ask for it. (WHEN PEOPLE ASK.)

Saying what works, what doesn't work... I think that means more.
