Every time we see them I get the vibe that these are the kind of people who only look out for themselves...so if she ends up showing her manga they would only evaluate it to see if they should suck up to her (she's gonna be famous), or put her down... These interactions always make me feel icky. Hope I'm wrong, it'd be nice to have some positive interactions with them
