I wouldn't be surprised if they did off screen after the kiss. Imagine in the next few chapters they're like "let's go find somewhere private" and the shippers are like "oh they're gonna kiss, let's watch" and get more than they bargained for. That or they pull a Clannad and we find out she's a few months pregnant and can't hide it anymore
