I am also confused because the lore is being jampacked and just glossed over but I am guessing because of his slow levelling progress, his OP skills and overuse of power is taking a toll on his underlevelled body, thus he is in a Self-Destruct status. In essence his body cannot handle the power he has inside and maybe by using that item, he can alter his body or his whole being so he can bypass the physical requirements of his overpowered skills and activities.

i dont know if this was in the manga because i read the manga, or maybe it was glossed over, but is his build of LUCK++(overflow of luck) that has been keeping him alive and healthy. its the reason why the curses and whatever the nerdy classmate threw at him never worked, becase to actually do stuff to him you need 100% chance of affecting him and killing him.

theres also that thing that, to use his skills, he has been basically "ordering his body around" as if he was moving around a puppet, or as if he was controlling himself as a character on a videogame. On theory, this should not work, because doing such things breaks his body, BUT since he has maxed out luck and maxed out "vitality" he basically regenerates instantly. but this "basically regenerates instantly" isnt working as it used to, basically saying "i cant keep on breaking down my body and having my insane vitality and luck fix the aftermatch anymore or i will break down for real".

Why doesn't the dungeon boss he "saved" and "revived" ever talk? The other girl, who he calls "dancing girl" (if I recall correctly) was also said to be a dungeon boss and she talks... Is/was this ever explained? I'm fine with spoilers from the LN.

Is this simply glossed over in the manga completely (possibly for age rating?) or is it barely mentioned in the source material? I.e. how explicit do they make it, not expecting "pornographic" levels, but wondering if they basically do the "getting in bed together," to "waking up in bed together," copout that so many do...

If i remember previous chapters correctly you are wrong.
The title/class of the MC is "Loner" and all his skills and stats are linked to it.
And since he's making more and more friends, his body/stats/skills are slowly but surely deteriorating.
That's why he need to use an item to change/transform his title/class

Yes. Started with Armor rep(Angelica) soon after she was introduced, and same with Dancer Girl(Nefe). Actually, the latest novel volume out in English was half about him having a threesome with those two(other half dungeon floor clearing, mc making pieces of clothing(swimsuits, underwear, bras..), measuring the whole girl ensemble's bodies(lots of moaning and such..), tentacles, jelly tentacle baths(for measuring purposes, ...supposedly), catsuits, whips, some other...). For some reason this manga omitted the whole volume, it starts and ends at the start of the current, church girl, arc.

Armor rep and and Dancer Girl in the novel are desperate to push the rest of the cast as his wives, particularly School rep, as they feel the two alone aren't quite able to keep up whit the aforementioned 'night-time activities', and also, because, as dungeon emperors, they can't have children and thus think themselves unworthy of being his primary wives. Unfortunately for them, at least at that point in the novel, they haven't quite succeeded in that. Though I'm not personally sure how different the 'measuring sessions' are from it at this point, to be frank...
