It does? Do tell, because when I looked the only website that actually worked had all the same chapters that have been uploaded here. Including this chapter. That is, they have the same massive gap between this chapter and the previous release on MD (Chapter 8.1 at this time).

And yes, I checked. The website, Koma Scans, is using KityBlue's translation. They didn't even bother to remove the "Translated by KittyBlue" at the bottom of the second page because it seems they're not a scans group as the their name implies, but just another aggregator that scrapes MD. (And they have very annoying pop-up ads.)

EDIT: Okay, my bad. I dug a little deeper and found them out there.... But they have what appears to be the official releases from Seven Seas. And we know that if there's one thing that gets the unwanted attention of the publishers quicker than anything else, it's when someone is using their official releases. So don't expect it to last.

For the love of god, please do the backfill. Yes, I have good reason for requesting this, and I'll explain.

First and foremost: the other chapters are not out there. As I said, I just checked, and if any site has them, it should have turned up on one of the more well-known aggregator sites. EDIT: Like I said, my bad for not seeing them sooner - but all the same, using the official releases is bad ju-ju. (BTW, I don't count any websites that break in Firefox. If an ad-infested website only works on Chromium, then that's a red flag.)

Secondly... You know about Risou no Himo Seikatsu, right? And you know how our man, Ron, is waaayyyyy behind in the raws, right?

Do you ever see anyone give him grief over it?

Of course not. Only the newbie-readers who don't know a damn thing about how scanslation works ever bitches about it.

Why?

Because we all know he's working on giving us the best translation he can manage. The thing is, that particular title isn't something you can throw at an AI and expect a proper translation to come out. The story has a lot political intrigue that requires a lot of nuance in order to properly translate.

And thus, you have the odd juxtaposition of a lot of readers here on MD. That being that most of us don't mind how far behind in the raws you are, so long as you're making steady progress, then we're happy with that. Especially if the chapters are not available anywhere else except for "official" sources that take forever-and-a-day to be "officially" published.

That said, you don't need to be in any kind of rush to catch up with the raws. It's like building a house: it gets done when it gets done.

EDIT: Further adendum... Oh good lord! The chapters I found still have the credits pages from Seven Seas included! The guy that ripped them even included their name on the page like as if they were one of the staff at Seven Seas. Definitely don't expect these to stay around because the publisher is definitely gonna notice sometime sooner or later.
